Hi Dave Kemp, the inspiration came from my own playing days and a lifelong love of the game. Thanks for reading and commenting. By the way, there was also a World Cup promo video beautifully produced by Pond5 productions, with my poem accompanying the film footage. I think you can still see it on line somewhere. Cheers.
